Mickfield Hostas: the largest National Collection of Hosta in the UK

Our hosta collection was designated a National Collection by the National Council for the Conservation of Plants and Gardens in 2007.

This recognition of our collection is something we are delighted about, being self-confessed hosta-holics. We are especially looking forward to welcoming more visitors to the nursery to view the collection and to see how we are developing the exhibition garden.

The heat is on us now: we need to continue to grow our collection whilst striving to bring our customers as many of the commercially available varieties as possible.

This is an exciting time for us and we look forward to sharing our collection more widely through Plant Heritage channels over the coming years.
